A person is a person...

Few days back my brother suggested me the film- Horton! It’s an elephant animation film. I thought the film would be a funny one like Kung Fu Panda. But altogether it’s a surprise.

Horton is an elephant in the Nool jungle governed by a Kangaroo. He got a speck of dust, in which a whole village lives (Believe it! Its a story...). He talks to the people of Whoville (the village) and promises to help them. What he has to do? To keep the speck in a safe place. That’s all!

But the Kangaroo, doesn't believe in the Horton's saying and trying to stop it.

At the end, the Horton succeeds in keeping both the speck and the people safe.

Why Horton wants to save the speck and the small people? He says " a person is a person; no matter how small."

This is a movie not for kids; the children can't understand it. Though the story is childish, the moral is not. Think, daily how many people are coming across us? To how many of them we give due respect? Somebody may ask why we respect them.

Everybody is like you; have the equal right to live here. Everybody is like you; have a lot of errors within them. Everybody is like you; physically and mentally. We are not going to lose anything by throwing a smile, by giving a hand, by offering a hug.

Love everybody, if you want yourself to be lovable. Respect everybody if you deserve any respect.

After all " a person is a person; no matter how small."
